Organic Livestock Certification
The Farmer/Producer of livestock can apply for the organic certification to RSOCA (application Pro-forma & respective organic system plan formats are available on the website). The complete detail of livestock and farm along with the Fees has to be deposited to the Agency. RSOCA will issue the certificate for 1 year after the complete verification and final approval of certification committee.
Following documents are required to submit along with application form-
1. Annual Organic system plan with estimated production.
2. Site map.
3. Written agreement with certified organic operator in case of landless livestock production
4. Animal identification system
5. Parent details
6. Source and purchase details
7. Animal details
8. Breeding details
9. Feeding details
10. Health care details including details of vaccination, medication, veterinarian prescription and withdrawal period etc
11. Production details
12. sale details
13. Product, process details
14. Labelling details
Organic Apiculture Certification
The Farmer/Producer of Bee hive products (honey, wax, propolis) and plant products collected from beehives (pollen) may be certified as products from “Organic Production”. The producers can apply for the organic certification to RSOCA (application Pro-forma & respective organic system plan formats are available on the website). The complete detail of the farm along with the Fees has to be deposited to the Agency. RSOCA will issue the certificate for 1 year after the complete verification and final approval of certification committee.
