PWF & AR has been introduced in the Agricultural Marketing Board from 01.07.2003.
The highlights are :
1. Reduced period for receiving tender after publication of notice.
2. Reduced period for dealing with tenders.
3. Reduction in validity period of tenders.
4. Reduction in period of completion.
5. Revision of mode of publication of notice inviting tenders.
6. Revision of schedule of power for expeditious disposal of issues under consideration.
7. Revision in terms & conditions of agreement:
i. Imposition of liquidated damages at intermediate stage.
ii. Refund of liquidated damages if ultimate mile stone achieved.
iii. Forfeiture of earnest money / security deposit for default in commencing the work.
iv. Increase in defect liability period.
8. Reduction in power to sanction extra items and excess items which will result in preparation of correct estimation.

For the officers and employees of Agricultural Marketing Board, Directorate of Agriculture Marketing (DAM) and Krishi Upaj Mandi Samities (KUMS) training on Agricultural Marketing, computerization and HRD were organized at NIAM, SIAM, HCM RIPA, DMI. In this programme, farmers are to be given training on Production, Post Harvest Management (PHM) and Marketing of Agricultural Commodities.
Under 8 training programme, 18 officers/employees of RSAMB/DAM were nominated for various training at DMI/ NIAM/ HCM RIPA/ other institutions during 2020-21 (Upto August, 2020).
