MONITORING AND EVALUATION

     The main activities of the cell are as follows:-

1.  Monitoring survey:

This survey is conducted on regular basis in every crop season for evaluation of latest agriculture technology knowledge and extension programme that is regulated in the department by extension workers.

2.  Evaluation survey:

As a result of extension programme farmers are adopting various impact points included in extension programme which resulted in increase of crop productivity. Crop cutting experiments are conducted on regular basis in every crop season and alongwith assess the percentage of the farmers adopted various impact points.

3.  Special study:

Remedies for the problems found after study of various regulating programmes are been suggested by special study done on time to time. Special studies are been organized and edited on time to time basis as per need.

During the financial year 2016-17  following special studies have been carried out.

I.    Evaluation survey of the quality for monthly training organized at the sub district level during 2015-16.

II.   Evaluation survey of the vermi compost units constructed during 2015-16 under Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojna.

III.  Evaluation survey of the usefulnesses and effectiveness of visit programme for the inter state (out of state) and intra state (within state) farmer/women farmer under Rastriya Krishi Vikas Yojna.

IV.  Evaluation survey of utilization of the one day training for women farmer at Gram Panchayat Level under State Plan.

V.   Study to get opinion and experience of the participant farmers in GRAM-2016 event.

The following special studies are being carried out in the year 2017-18

I.    Evaluation of the implementation and impact of the Minimission-I and III Year 2015-16 & 2016-17 of the National Mission on Oilseeds and Oilpalm.

II.    Concurrent Survey of the Minimission-I and III Year 2017-18 of the National Mission on Oilseeds and Oilpalm.

4.  Other activities:

a.  Krishi Karman Award- This award is given by Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers welfare (DoACFW), GOI to the best performing states in the production of total foodgrains and individual crops of Rice, Wheat, Pulses, Coarse cereals and Oilseeds. Proposals of the department are prepared by the cell for this award and make a presentation before the screening committee of GOI.

Rajasthan State was awarded Krishi Karman Award 2014-15 for outstanding performance in wheat production. This award consists of a trophy, citation and cash amount of Rs. 2.00 crore.

b. Monitoring of campaigns- Various types of campaigns are organized from time to time by the state Government to ensure the work of the people of the region through the medium of sensitive and transparent administration. According to high level decision, the officers and staff of the department participate in these campaigns, give information of departmental schemes and latest agricultural technology to the public and solve problems related to the department. The progress of the work done by the department in these campaigns is compiled by the cell.
