Training activities by Extension training section

1. One day women training

Objective :-

  • Imparting knowledge about seed production, Soil health, efficient use of water, plant protection equipments, Agriculture implements and other agricultural techniques to women farmers.

Provisions :-

  • Provision of Rs. 3000/- per training of 30 women farmers.

Eligibility :-

  • Women farmer of the Gram Panchyat with priority Marginal/ Small / SC/ST and Self Help Group of women farmers.

Venue :-

  • To avoid repetition of participants priority will be given to Village / ward of Gram Panchayat where no such training has been organized during last two years.

Contact :-

  • Local Agriculture supervisor / Assistant agriculture Officer.

2.GRAMSET based training under RKVY :-

Objective :-

  • Imparting knowledge about department schemes and agricultural technology to farmers of the State through GRAM SET directly from state level.

Provisions :-

  • Provision of Rs. 225/- per farmer per training for a group of 25-30 farmers.

Venue :-

  • Selected SITs/ROTs studios at district and block level.

3.Two days institutional farmer training (NMOOP) : -

Objective :-

  • Imparting knowledge about summer ploughing, timely sowing, seed treatment, Vermi Compost, Gypsum use, Soil testing, farm level grading etc. to farmers through training specially oilseed and oil palm crops.

Provisions :-

  • Provision of Rs. 24000/- per training for a group of 30 farmers for two days.

Eligibility :-

  • Maximum 5 farmers are selected from a gram panchayat with priority to Small/Marginal farmers below age of 35 years.

Venue :-

  • Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Agricultural Research Station, Adaptive Trial Centres or at Panchyat Samiti Level.

4.Cropping system based training under NFSM (Wheat & Pulses) : -

Objective :-

  • On farm demonstration training of agriculture technology for kharif & Rabi crops.

Provisions :-

  • Provision of Rs. 14000/- for four session of each training. The first, second, third and fourth session shall be organized before kharif, mid kharif, before rabi and mid rabi season, respectively.

Eligibility :-

  • From Demo block area 30 Farmers selected with priority to Marginal / Small / SC/ST and Self Help Group of farmers and newly added farmers in mission. The farmers in the group shall be same for all sessions.

Venue :-

  • Selected farmer field from a block of 100 ha. demonstration area.

5. Soil Health Card farmer training scheme :-

Objective :-

  • Technical guidance about soil health card

Provisions :-

  • Provision of Rs. 24000/- for 30 farmers two days training.

Eligibility :-

  • Farmers interested in adoption and use of improved agricultural techniques with priority to Small / Marginal / SC/ST/ Self Help Group farmers are selected.
